The question is, which of the two, if you had to choose, would you rather have? Of course a healthy balance would be perfect but no one is perfectly balanced.
I would choose sense. If a person is only intelligence, no common sense, they can't really do anything with that intelligence. If a person has all common sense and no intelligence, well, they can at least bullshit their way through cause they know what's what. There's nothing more annoying than an intelligent person with no sense.

yeah, a lot of times I think I would trade some of my so-called intelligence for a bit more common sense.
