Let us face a pluralistic world in which there are no universal churches, no single remedy for all diseases, no one way to teach or write or sing, no magic diet, no world poets, and no chosen races, but only the wretched andwonderfully diversified human race. -Jacques Barzun, professor and writer (1907- )
hi something dirty,
ReplyDeletei read that a couple of days ago, and was planning to put in on my blog sometimes soon... ah you beat me to it! but it is nice isn't it? i mean it would be cool if we didnt try to make everyone like us, and truely understand that there is a possibility that things that are so wrong for us can be so right for others. and i think if we did understand that then their actions might not hurt us, do you think so?
ps: do you know what awad is?
yep, that's where I got it Neha! I love it to bits, I have saved a lot of the quotes over the years.
