  1. i rented a couple movies this last weekend. watched pursuit of happyness, true story so you really couldn't hate it- it made me feel like a schlub for not doing better for myself.
the departed- good. surprised a little, those damn guns. i must have jumped 28 times.
i also rented hard candy but haven't watched it yet.

  2. LOL! Awesome, I'm glad you really answered. I haven't been to the movies since Whackly left town, I think, and I rarely rent movies either. But I watch oldies on TCM a lot.

  3. ok, i think i have you beat when it comes to the last movie seen in a theatre, though. it was "last holiday" with queen latifah, and i don't have a clue if it was last year or the year before...been a while.
    anyway, the weather is beautimous!

  4. But if you *want* to see more movies, I have an evangelical zeal for netflix. It changed my life, and it change change yours too.

We have at home, at this very moment, The Holiday, Dr. Zvagho, and disk 2 of the first season of Star Trek Voyager. Yes, it's true. I've even dorkier than you thought.

  5. I had netflix for a while, it was very very cool. I think I will try it again someday, and you could not be any dorkier than I thought. Wait, that came out wrong, plus it was a really cheap joke. Oh well!

  7. Well, not just for you, but these are the sorts of questions I would repeatedly plague you with if you were around online more often.

  8. Yeah, you know precisely how dorky I am. But let's keep that on the downlow, eh?

And despite my aforementioned passion for netflix, I feel somewhat duty-bound, in the name of objectivity, to note that with the blockbuster rental program you can go to the store for movies if you don't want to wait. That seems pretty cool. If I were starting over (and not such a loyal netflix customer), I might checkout blockbuster instead. Know anyone on that program?

Seriously, I cannot keep the dork in check today.
