So after I got home this afternoon, I spent the rest of the day, up to about an hour ago, reading and reading. I haven't had such a reading binge in quite a while - as I was telling someone, since the last Harry Potter book came out (yes, I know how cool that makes me) - and I forgot how zoned out and slightly nauseous it can make a person feel.
Yay! I'm someone!
ReplyDeleteZoned out, like you're in a different world type of thing?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Wackly-on being someone.
i am really interested in what book engrossed you so. there have been a few books that have sucked me in like that, which is no problem except for the fact that i like to read before bed so sometimes i literally have to force myself to stick that bookmark in there and set the damn thing down.
ReplyDeletei get like that with true crime books by ann rule, and marley and me was good about a dude and his dog, and well, so many others.
but really, what book? or was it a thick magazine? lol.
i sometimes lose feeling in my ass cuz i get into the national geographic when i'm on the crapper. lol. good times.
lol, yep, it was Monsieur Whackley.
ReplyDeleteI was reading The Astonishing Adventures of Fanboy & Gothgirl and Octavian Nothing. They are Young Adult-type novels lent to me by another somebody who is an education major and is building her own library of good books.
Oh and on Saturday and Sunday I read the 3rd book of the Series of Unfortunate Events (which belongs to my nieces) and The Old Wine Shades, a mystery that my mom checked out from the library. The Fargo library is pretty cool, they have like, an outlet in a strip mall right next to the grocery store she likes. I kinda wish we had that here.
ReplyDeleteYEah, I'm totally bragging about how much I read this weekend, that's AWESOME!
